First, check out our sponsors…

BCS products came to America in the early 1970’s at a time when Americans were re-discovering the joys of vegetable gardening and pursuing self-sufficiency. Almost forty years later, there are now many tens of thousands of BCS owners in the US and Canada. Like BCS in Italy, the mission of BCS America is to increase your productivity and reduce the physical effort required to accomplish your outdoor tasks, projects, and farm work. Now introducing the 30” spreader attachment for adding a consistent layer of compost and amendments to a standard 30” bed. Even in a no-till system, there are a myriad of uses for the best two wheel tractor on the market.

Gabe Brown has become an icon of the regenerative farming movement. On his 5,000 acre ranch in North Dakota he practices rotational grazing, no-till cash crop production, and grows 15 acres of no-till veg. We get into the basics of his systems of production that illustrate how applying the four principles of regenerative farming (reduce tillage, keep the soil covered, keep the soil planted, etc.) may look different at different scales, but will improve farms of all sizes and scales if adhered to and strategies for managing a diverse range of enterprises at-scale. If you want to learn more about what Gabe is doing, check out his book Dirt to Soil.
