What a great episode of the podcast! Not only do we get into the ecology and no-till work going on at Soul Fire Farm (you’ve probably heard of Farming While Black by Leah Pennimen), we spend some time on the challenges of BIPOC farmers and the amazing work they’re doing at Soul Fire to provide opportunities for BIPOC farmers—current and aspiring—through on-farm training in culturally relevant and indigenous practices, connecting farmers to land, and speaking about these issues to the greater public.
