David Blanchard was recommended to be a guest on the podcast by so many folks following the growers forum and for good reason. He’s not only a wealth of practical agronomic knowledge, but a critical voice within no-till and regenerative agriculture in the best of ways, hoping to make it better by considering all of the facets and facts, not just what is convenient. Here, we talk living pathways, limited strip tillage, weed seed free hay and living mulch, year-round growing in Nova Scotia, the implications of building a regenerative farm, practical nutrient management in no-till, and creative strategies for integrating cover crops into no/low-till vegetable production. We’re so grateful to David for not only sharing his time for the interview, but also contributing to the conversation over the past year. We loved this one, you will, too.
