John Kempf has a Blog & You Should Be Reading It...

If you’ve followed along with our work for a little while, you know we’re big fans of John Kempf. The Amish ex-conventional agro-chemical dealer turned regenerative agriculture Avenger was on the podcast earlier in season two...

Excited to be joined by John Kempf of Advancing Eco Agriculture to talk about how plants can fend off pests and diseases and so much more.  John's Site: http://advancingecoag.com/ John's podcast: regenerativeagriculturepodcast.com/ Podcast     Support our work at www.patreon.com/farmerJesse  Events I mentioned: notillgrowers.com/events  Also check out our show sponsors:  Www.BCSamerica.com  and

Needless to say, his own podcast—aptly named the Regenerative Agriculture Podcast—if easily one of our favorite things on the internet. If you don’t already subscribe to it, do it now. Not only does he talk to other growers, but a great deal of scientists and agronomists who share some amazing insights into the leading edge of research and practical application of regenerative farm practices, particularly in annual production. Every. Episode. Is golden.

He recently started a blog, as well. These short, Seth Godin-esque—of whom we’re also big fans—blog posts tie together CITED forth-coming research with in-the-field observation. Like this one on the big debate about the mobility of phosphorus in soil, compost, and manure…

“New research just out reports that combinations of rock phosphate and manure increase phosphatase enzyme activity and organic matter1. Increased plant availability, but not water solubility. Which also means not leachable, and produces no water pollution. Perfect.”

There are also links to some of his other work, including: short courses, webinars, his company Advancing Eco Agriculture, etc.

Check it out and subscribe. We don’t use the subscribe word lightly, because we get fed up with clutter in our inbox and ‘cast feed. In a time when you should be valuing (ie safegaurding) your attention, we feel his work is definately worth it.
